NeXOS - Maritime sensor market assessment survey - request for participation

Dear reader, if you are in any way involved in the maritime industry and your activities have an aspect of maritime monitoring, then your contribution to this survey is invaluable. By participating in this survey you will have the opportunity to express your views on how the maritime sensor industry can meet the needs of sensor users and improve its competitiveness in a rapidly evolving international environment. Sensor Systems for a Changing Ocean) workshop - abstracts due June 20th

OES is a co-sponsor of the Sea Tech Week 2014 conference in Brest, France - October 13-17 (http://www.seatechweek.com/).  For this event, OES is sponsoring the SSCO (Sensor Systems for a Changing Ocean) workshop.  The abstract on-line facility is open on the website (http://www.seatechweek.com/index.php/en/conference-home/ssco). The deadline as been extended to June, 20.


Sea Tech Week student poster competition - abstracts due Sept. 5th

OES is also participating to a "Student Poster Competition" for Sea Tech Week, along with the other participating conferences/workshops. The City of Brest will cover for Food & Lodging. Two prizes will be awarded, one from the city of Brest and one from IEEE OES. The amount will be around 1,000 to 1,500 €.  Details at:  http://www.seatechweek.com/index.php/en/posters-sessions
