Global HF Radar Meeting, Greece, Sep. 22-23, 2015

The 2015 meeting of the Group on Earth Observations (GEO) Global HF Radar Task will take place September 22-23 in Heraklion, Crete, Greece.  This meeting will coincide with the Seventh Session of the Global Ocean Observing System (GOOS) Regional Alliances.  In the coming months, we will solicit abstracts for GEO Global HF Radar presentations and we will announce.  As in the past, the focus of this GEO task is operational aspects of HF radar.  The theme will be "HF radar networks" where we seek to have presentations from individuals who would discuss their nation's network including their data management, deployment & operation as well as applications of the HF radar data to real-world problems.

The US Integrated Ocean Observing System (IOOS) has been hosting a website for this GEO Task at

We have also created a new page for the community to share thoughts and information on the global HF radar effort here

Thanks and we look forward to your attendance! If you have any questions you can email me or share with the Global HF radar mail list.
