MTS/IEEE OCEANS 2008 Quebec City, 15-18 September 2008

OCEANS ’08 MTS/IEEE Quebec will be held at the Quebec Exhibition and Conference Centre located in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada September 15-18, 2008. OCEANS ’08 MTS/IEEE Quebec will coincide with the 400th anniversary of Quebec City, the most European of North American cities, and the historic gateway linking the North Atlantic to the Great Lakes and the interior of the continent. OCEANS ’08 MTS/IEEE Quebec also takes place at the pinnacle of the 4th International Polar Year (2007-2009), and Quebec City's long tradition of Polar exploration makes her an ideal venue for the 2008 conference. At a time when the Northern Hemisphere is poised to shift to a new climate, the conference theme "Oceans, Poles and Climate: Technological Challenges" will enable scientists and engineers from all over the world to discuss and debate the technological challenges of exploring and preserving our changing oceans. At OCEANS ’08 MTS/IEEE Quebec, a truly maritime cachet, a vibrant culture, the golden light of September, and the exciting nightlife of French Québec await you.
