Earthzine - on-line magazine on Earth observations and science

Dear Colleagues:

http://www.Earthzine.org is an on-line magazine that is a source for news, articles, information and educational materials about Earth Science, Earth observations and users of Earth information for the international Earth-observing community. Earthzine is updated regularly with news from around the world about the Earth, Earth observations, environmental policy, and new and emerging environmentally-friendly and earth-observing technologies. As a contribution of the IEEE Committee on Earth Observation

(ICEO) it supports the Group on Earth Observations and its mission.

Earthzine is actively recruiting subscribers and contributors from the community of ocean observers, and has reached out to the Ocean Engineering Society. Subscriptions are free. Earthzine is currently calling for papers to fill a theme issue on Biodiversity-Indicator of Planetary Health.

Subsequent themes will address Disaster Mitigation and Response, Global Energy Dependency, Meeting the Millennium Development Goals, Agriculture and Food Availability.

For more information about Earthzine, see http://www.earthzine.org/about/

Please take a look at the document and consider becoming a subscriber and contributing your expertise to this worthy endeavor.
